One of the best known and most common legends on the north coast is that of Raven bringing light to the world. I love to tell this story as well as hear it from other storytellers. There is another creation story about the union of the sun and a beautiful maiden who became the moon and all their children which are the stars in the heavens. Among my crests are Raven, Moon, and Rainbow. This creation of mine shows Raven as the rainbow as well as Sun, Moon and Stars, which pretty much covers the sources of All the Light This design began it's life as a bracelet created by Mark Preston from Whitehorse in the Yukon. Mark and I worked on it together and I reworked the design as a silkscreened print. Thank you Mark.
