The very work brings to mind visions of the largest of it's species ever seen by a human. For those of you who have never heard, the Steelhead is the most exciting game fish that anyone could ever have on the end of their fishing line. Steelheading is usually pursued in some of the colder months on the West Coast.

This particular creation was strongly suggested to me by some of my fishing partners with whom I have spent many a happy hour seeking that elusive king of sportfish.
STEELHEAD then is dedicated to those I have fished with and to all those who sneak through the woods, trip over logs and windfalls, slide down riverbanks and fall into the icy waters of a mountain stream or river in a desperate search for this
magnificent rival.
