Eagle Rock
This work was inspired by a trip to my village of Kitkatla. I was welcomed home as a hero and a chief. It was a humbling and inspiring time for me.
I visited a rock we called Eagle Rock when I was a child. As an adult, I found the return to bring out the child in me. Memories of the village and how it used to be, flooded my mind. I thought of the blessing of life on this earth and will always be thankful for time spent on Eagle Rock.
