The story of a unique moonset in Tofino flows from the piece Raven Sunset. It was one of those magical experiences in Tofino that keeps evolving.
I was walking back from an incredible sunset when I saw the glow above the trees from the moonrise. I realized it was unique, as it was the first full moon of spring. I was determined to catch the moonset during the early morning hours.
I had walked outside several times with my wife, Andrea, to take in the moon's beauty. I slept on and off all night, checking on it. In the early morning, I sat with a coffee and captured many photos of the special Tofino Moonset.
I had several photos of the family, including a photograph of my son and his girlfriend on the beach, so they became part of this beautiful story.
Raven Sunset and Tofino Moonset are special memories, now captured for others to enjoy.
